Return to Softness

we soften together.

October 2-4, 2026

Julian, California

A weekend retreat for women to rest, receive, and reconnect with themselves in community.

Somewhere along the way, many of us learned to equate strength with pushing through, staying busy, and holding it all together. In constantly doing, giving, and moving, we can become disconnected from ourselves — carrying tension in our bodies and leaving little room to simply be and soften.

Return to Softness is an invitation to set down what you've been carrying for everyone else and allow yourself to receive the care and nourishment you so often give to others. Together, we'll move at a gentler pace, creating space to remember our own rhythm and trust the wisdom of our bodies.

Over the course of the weekend, there will be time for both intentional practice and simple presence — ceremony, embodied movement, quiet conversation, moments in nature, deep rest, shared meals, and reflection.

Together, we remember that softness is not weakness — it is a return to ourselves.

Our Weekend Together

Friday - arrive & release

We begin by giving ourselves time to arrive, settle in, and transition out of the pace of everyday life. We'll share our first nourishing meal together before gathering in circle and gently easing into the weekend. Around the fire, we'll have the opportunity to reflect on what isn't ours to carry and, if it feels right, release it—creating space for everything the weekend has yet to hold.

Saturday - receive & return

The heart of our weekend — a full day to move, reflect, and simply be. We'll share cacao, embodied movement, quiet moments in nature, nourishing meals, and meaningful conversation, inviting us deeper into our bodies and into the experience of being cared for and nurtured. Our breath deepens, our hearts open, and our bodies soften as we return to our own rhythm.

Sunday - integrate & carry forward

On our final morning, we'll gather one last time in circle to honor all we've experienced together. As we prepare to return home, we'll explore how to carry the softness we've cultivated into our everyday lives. About a month later, we'll gather again for an integration circle—a chance to reconnect, share what has unfolded, and continue tending to ourselves as we weave the retreat into our daily lives.

“The retreat was a transformative experience, crafted with extraordinary care and intention. It created a sacred space where external pressures dissolved, allowing me to fully engage in self-work and self-care, and I emerged renewed and reconnected.”

– Jessie

“The retreat blended reflection, movement, and community in a way that felt both intentional and effortless. Every detail contributed to an experience that felt grounding, nourishing, and restorative. I left feeling awakened and more in tune with myself.”

– Natasha
