About Claire

Claire, founder of Circle with Claire

Claire creates intentional spaces where women feel held and are able to soften, reconnect with themselves, and connect more deeply with one another.

She is a certified ecstatic dance facilitator and DJ, and a certified Fluentbody instructor.

For the past five years, Claire has been hosting women’s gatherings and co-facilitating retreats rooted in embodiment, authentic connection, reflection, and shared experience. Her circles weave together movement, meditation, journaling, music, ceremony, and intentional conversation to support women in deepening their connection to themselves and one another.

Before stepping into this work full-time, Claire spent a decade teaching high school English at Title I schools in Washington D.C. and the San Francisco Bay Area. Her years in the classroom deeply shaped her approach to facilitation — grounding her in trauma-informed practices and a belief that people flourish when they feel safe, seen, and supported.

After experiencing burnout in the classroom, Claire spent time living in Berlin, where she immersed herself more deeply in women’s circles, dance, embodiment, and community-based healing practices. That chapter became a turning point in her own journey and continues to inform the spaces she now creates.

Claire now lives in San Diego with her husband and son, and feels honored to gather with women in circle.
